We have been blessed with a wonderful summer this year, but now the nights are drawing in (no pun intended!) and it is the start of a new school year for my young daughters. This morning was a great opportunity for a quick sketch while they were watching TV before taking them to school.
I am really enjoying the ink and wash sketching at the moment which has been spurred on from my Daily Sketch and Twitter Activity #paintseptember
I am also currently working on the fantasy illustrations for a book that I will reveal nearer the time. I do feel on full throttle at the moment and ideas are beaming in all directions because of this new found motivation, despite the cold weather approaching.
