I have totally enjoyed #drawingaugust on twitter and hope for it to continue as an annual event next year. But now we have entered September and the topic is now #paintseptember so my goal is to try and do a colour sketch everyday for a month that will work in conjunction with my daily sketch! phew!!

Anyway I am loving every minute of it as it has completely motivated me as well as all the other work I am producing on top of that. Infact it is helping me mentally and the confidence to apply has improved. The picture above was a quick pen and wash sketch of our dog Lizzy. She moved a couple of times but went back to the same position enough for me to capture the feel.
